It's time we get serious about cancer and stomp it out once and for all. So tired of waking up and hearing about people dying from cancer.
According to the American Cancer Society, in the United States, about 1,620 people were expected to die of cancer each day in 2015 — this equates to nearly 590,000 people.
The Worlds Health Organization reports cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, accounting for an estimated 9.6 million deaths in 2018. The most common cancers are: Lung (2.09 million cases) Breast (2.09 million cases).
With all the research and money given to the study and fight on cancer, surely we should be close to a cure, by now. Could it be Big Pharma sees a profit in not curing the disease? Not sure if this is so, but people that I have spoken to seem to share this belief.
Just think about it. It is 2019 and it seems every day someone is dying from cancer. It is time we get tough and serious and "Stomp Out Cancer" for once and for all.
